I drew inspiration from the Netherlands-based De Stijl movement. De Stijl embraces abstract, geometric patterns with bold primary colors. I decided to take the softer, organic forms of the animals and turn them geometric, while keeping their organic colors and backgrounds.

        These pictures were taken in various places, including Zans Schaans, Artis Amsterdam Royal Zoo, and in parks around Amsterdam. Please enjoy 🙂
